I would like to give kudos to the men of the Tx Dept of Transportation who work the roads in Foard County. These guys were up early blading the roads even as the snow and ice fell. Other TXDOT crews could take a few pointers from them. Keep up the awesome job guys!!!

I have been reading the Daily Record for about 40 years. I want to say that for the first time the Record is making a stand for the people of Vernon. I picked up the Friday paper and read about your filing to the Information Act. the City Managers and City Commissioners of Vernon at times keep the people in dark about their matters. Times are hard for most folks including myself. I dont support the city spending this money in these hard times. I hope this gets their attention that they need to keep people informed on all matters. They work for us not some candidate for a high paying position. Thanks Very Much Jerry Brackeen
